Electrical door strikes

GU standard electric strikes are available in different versions: quiescent current version ('fail-safe') and operating current version ('fail-secure') with or without preload electronics. Matching system strike plates offer you the optimal solution for every door profile; the strike variants with latch slide cover even enable concealed installation.

For standard installation

For the still customary and sometimes only possible installation method we offer electric strikes without latch slide cover – however, for these strike variants it is necessary to mill a recess in the profile edge or use a latch plate for timber profiles with an electric strike recess. This disturbs the door's appearance and reduces its tightness.

For concealed installation

Electric strikes with latch slide cover save you the effort of cutting the frame profile edge, respectively allow the use of an angular latch plate with closed keeper area for timber profiles. The advantages are an improved appearance and reduced energy loss due to a better tightness.
